Kaoru Matsuno is the Art Director of Hara Design Institute (HDI), Nippon Design Center Inc. (NDC), Tokyo.

Her works for HDI span diverse fields in communication, editorial, production, design, curatorial, and art direction, helping to bring about such works as the book “DESIGNING DESIGN”, and the international travelling exhibitions “RE-DESIGN”, “HAPTIC”, and “SENSEWARE”.

Kaoru Matsuno graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the State University of New York at Buffalo, U.S.
